Leeaf Co-CEO Olga Chabr Grillova joined H. E. Mr. Jozef Sikela, Czech Minister of Industry and Trade, on his official visit to the US. Visiting Washington, Austin and San Francisco, the program was aimed at introducing Czech most innovative companies and start-ups to America's business leaders as well as potential partners in the technology sector to discuss unique opportunities for European businesses entering the US market.

Olga attended the Texas-Czech Business Forum with The Austin Chamber of Commerce and met with Mr. Roland Peňa, SVP of Global Tech and Innovation at the Austin Chamber of Commerce, Mrs. Shirley Temple, Texas Economic Development - Office of Governor Greg Abbott, Mr. Jake Dunlap, CEO at Skaled Consulting, and Mr. Kevin Koym, CEO at Tech Ranch. She also had the chance to meet with Mr. Marcos Servantes, Vice President of Operations at Capital Factory and discussed Texas Business Climate, local Start-up and Technology Ecosystem in Texas as well as go to market strategies and business development tactics for the US.
The Czech business delegation met with Plug and Play CEO Saeedem Amidim in San Francisco to learn about cooperation with US corporations, and Klára Losert, Co-Founder of Talk Base, the first Czech company that US-based Plug & Play TechCenter have invested in, who shared valuable insights on how communities influence the development and success of technological companies.
This journey highlighted the vast opportunities that the US market offers to European tech companies and the potential that exists for MedTech companies in particular to make a significant impact.
